Evaluation Question 3



For evaluation question 3 I have looked at my audience feedback and what I can learn from it. 
Below you can see that I have analysed my audience feedback by looking at each question. I wanted to be able to see what peoples opinions were on my final tasks. I set up a questionnaire on Google forms which is a new website for me. It has allowed me to be able to produce a questionnaire very quickly and easily. Being able to look at the responses is so easy as well, you can see what all the answers were all on one page without having to go through them individually.

From what I can see from my analysis of my audience feedback I can see that overall people enjoyed my final tasks and there wasn't too much that people would change which is a very good thing, but there were a few things people brought up-


  • The first thing was that someone said that it looked too much like a Christmas magazine, but as it is a December edition then I think maybe I should have made it clear that it was that it was a Christmas edition. If I was to do this again I would write that it is a Christmas edition somewhere to make sure people knew that that was the theme of the issue. 
  • Another comment was that there was too much writing. This is a pretty hard thing to change as I needed to produce a double page spread which does involve writing. But, if I was to produce it again then I would maybe put more pictures on the double page spread so that it would intrigue the audience that doesn't like reading as much.  

The things that everybody liked were -

Style, very professional
Everything
the layout and photos
Very colourful and intriguing, full of information
Looks professional, good layout, looks informative, relevant
From this I have seen what my strong point from my production has been, this has allowed me to see what the main strengths of my production are. From doing this task it has allowed me to evaluate my production. I have enjoyed looking at my strengths and weaknesses, I think that if I was going to be doing this again then I would take into consideration the things that people have brought up and advised I do.

I have selected to do my coursework this year on the brief that requires me to make a extract from a documentary which lasts 5 minutes. Draft double page spread

After finishing this I have decided that this is the idea that I want to use, I love the theme and the images but there is a lot to change and rearrange with trying to make it look like a proper magazine double page spread. If this was going to be my final piece I know that many things would have to be change such as- The spacing within the text doesn't look profession, it looks scruffy and mismatched. I would make it all square and equal. I would do this to produce a crisp and clear line between the text and the photos.  There no page numbers which would need to be on there as it would not be a proper double page spread- This would need to be added to my final pages.  I would make sure that all of the images looked as if they go together, I may even fade them into the background.
