Draft Front Cover.

I made this Draft front cover to try and get a feel for Photoshop again- I took inspiration from this magazine on down below and I can see that I need to improve some stuff as it does need improvement with changing the sub heading fonts but as a first go at doing this I think I did well. Some elements that I would improve are- The colour pallet, I do not think this would look good on the front of a magazine as I think the colours are too bright. As we can see the colours on the right are very cool toned. In my final magazine I would include more subheadings as the cover looks a little bear and would need to have more on the front to entice customers into buying it.  I would change the puff as well as I think it may be too big for a front cover- I would probably change the colour of it also.  Some elements that I like and would use in my final magazine- I really like my logo, I am going to keep this and use it or my final magazine. Changes to double page spread.

After looking through magazines I changed my mind on how I wanted my double page spread to be, I thought it had too much stuff going on so therefore I change the layout of what it looked like. I took out 2 pictures and expanded one of them to cover the whole p age and a bit more of the other side. Also, I changed where the title of the page was put- Before it was over the main photo but now it is on its own in a light purple colour which draws attention to something else rather than the photos themselves. I like the layout of the text better on the second one as I think it will be easier to read and follow along better than the other one did as it looked out of place. I have seen many magazines with the text laid out like this and I think that it looks very effective and in order.
